- Unit 1: What is ZMOT? Google's Zero Moment of Truth: online research (reviews, prices, videos) before buying.
- Unit 2: Differentiate between single and double opt-in. Single adds the user at sign-up; double needs a confirmation click and proves consent.
- Unit 3: What are negative keywords? Words that stop a search ad showing for irrelevant queries, such as "free" or "jobs".
- Unit 3: Compare SEO and SEM. Which should a new start-up prefer? Compare cost, speed, duration, trust and control; conclude they work together.
- Unit 4: Are Twitter and X different platforms? No. Twitter (2006) was acquired in 2022 and rebranded as X in July 2023.
The BBA 304 notes solve 43 two-to-three-mark questions across 4 units, list 37 ten-to-fifteen-mark practice questions and answer 40 MCQs, plus 13 case studies.

How to write BBA 304 answers: diagram-led ten-to-fifteen-mark theory answers, metric calculations and HOTS case replies
The notes' answer shape for long questions: definition, points under headings, a diagram, one Indian example, a conclusion. Most BBA 304 topics have a named definition (Chaffey, CMI, Tuten and Solomon) to quote.
- "Meaning, scope and importance": Chaffey definition, 6-8 features, the scope diagram, importance for business and customer (page 9).
- 7 Ps: show how each P changes online, not the textbook meaning (page 15).
- Website design: cover user requirements, design and structure, and content testing; writing only about colours is the common mistake (page 19).
- Analytics: separate vanity metrics (likes) from actionable ones (engagement rate, CTR, cost per result) (page 79).
Worked example (FitZone Gym HOTS case, page 66): ₹50,000 on broad-match "gym" ads gave 4,000 clicks and 20 memberships. CPC = 50,000 ÷ 4,000 = ₹12.5; cost per membership = 50,000 ÷ 20 = ₹2,500. Marks come from the diagnosis: "gym jobs" searches and out-of-city clicks mean poor targeting, so add negative keywords and a 3-5 km radius.
Practise this format on GGSIPU BBA important questions.

BBA 304 digital marketing notes FAQs
How do I get the full BBA 304 notes?
Message us on WhatsApp at 9899436384 using the "Get Full Notes" button. The full BBA 304 notes come only as a printed book; they are not available as a PDF. Delivery takes a maximum of 5 to 7 days, depending on your location. Mention your college and full delivery address in the same chat so the book can be dispatched quickly.
Is BBA 304 a 2-credit or a 4-credit paper?
The sixth-semester scheme table in the official BBA PDF lists BBA 304 as an Ability Enhancement Course with 2 lecture hours and 2 credits. The paper's own syllabus page in the same PDF prints L-4, T-0, Credits-4. We follow the scheme table, because it adds up to the semester total of 22 credits. Check with your college if your result sheet differs.
What is the passing mark for BBA 304?
BBA 304 is marked out of 100: 40 internal marks (class test 15, assignments and activities 25) and 60 end-term marks. The BBA scheme and syllabus PDF does not print a pass percentage, so we do not quote one. For end-term minimums and re-appear rules, read GGSIPU Ordinance 11, linked in the snapshot table above.
Do the BBA 304 notes treat Twitter and X as separate platforms?
No. The official Unit IV list names Twitter and X separately, but they are one platform. The notes explain this on page 69: Twitter launched in 2006, was acquired in 2022 and was rebranded as X in July 2023, and tweets are now called posts. If a question names both, write one answer that uses both names.
Do the BBA 304 notes match the 2024-25 GGSIPU BBA scheme?
Yes. They follow the NEP-based BBA scheme revised w.e.f. 2024-25, which applies to students admitted in 2024-25 onwards. All four official unit titles and every topic listed under them are covered, as the syllabus map above shows. Students on an older scheme should compare their own syllabus copy, since the code and units may differ.
Are the BBA 304 long-answer questions solved in the notes?
The 43 short answers (2–3 marks) and 40 MCQs come with answers. The 37 long-answer questions (10–15 marks) are listed for practice without model answers; each maps to a numbered section of its unit chapter, where the definitions, diagrams and Indian examples you need are already written out. The four HOTS cases at the end of each unit carry answer hints.
