MMPH 006 Solved Guess Paper is a 24-question answer file for IGNOU MMPH 006 Organisational Dynamics, built for the December 2026 term-end exam. We went through six question papers, December 2023 to June 2026, marked every repeat, and wrote each answer in exam length straight from the course book. Five answers sit below, in full, so you can judge the writing before you pay for anything.

Organisational Dynamics looks light on paper and then turns out to be heavy on names. Dahl, Weber, Kelman, Fiedler, Hofstede, Karau and Williams: examiners reward the student who can place the right author next to the right definition. This file does that work for you, topic by topic, so revision time goes into writing practice rather than hunting through four blocks.

1. MMPH 006 Solved Guess Paper at a Glance

The MMPH 006 guess paper gives you 24 predicted questions with complete answers, grouped block by block and tagged by priority. Each question page shows its block and unit, the sessions in which it was last asked, and an IGNOU-style wording of the question, followed by the answer, a table where one helps, and a two-line conclusion.

The file belongs to our wider IGNOU Solved Guess Paper series, and it follows the same promise: nothing is padded. Group formation theories such as Tuckman and Belbin's team roles are left out on purpose, because none of the six recent papers asked about them. The space goes instead to topics that keep returning, like political behaviour and culture convergence.

Two pages close the file. A "Read This First" page sets out the exam pattern, what not to prepare and what examiners look for. A frequency grid then tracks 33 topics across all six sessions, so the night before the exam you can see at a glance which answers to read one last time.

2. MMPH 006 Sample Questions with Answers

Below are 5 of the 24 MMPH 006 answers, reproduced in shortened form from the guess paper, one from each block plus a second from Block 1. All five topics were asked in June 2026 or December 2025, which makes them fair tests of how the file handles the questions most likely to return.

Sample 1 of 5File Q1Block 1, Unit 120 marksAsked Dec 2025, June 2026

Organisational diagnostic models

Question: Describe the different organisational diagnostic models for both traditional and modern organisations. Highlight the advantages and disadvantages of the models.

Organisational diagnosis is a structured study of how well the parts of an organisation fit together, carried out so that change can be planned rather than guessed. Diagnostic models give that study a map.

Traditional models

McKinsey's 7S framework splits the organisation into hard elements (strategy, structure, systems) and soft elements (shared values, style, staff, skills). Galbraith's Star Model uses five points: strategy, structure, processes, rewards and people. Weisbord's Six Box Model (1976) asks one diagnostic question per box, starting with purpose: what business are we in?

Nadler and Tushman's Congruence Model (1980) looks at work, people, structure and culture, and treats performance as the degree of fit between them. The Burke-Litwin framework arranges twelve factors into five groups, from external environment down to individual outputs, with each group shaped by the ones above it.

Modern models

The Holonic Enterprise Model borrows Arthur Koestler's 1967 idea of the holon, a unit that is whole in itself and also part of a larger system. The Flexible Organisation Model (Deloitte, 2016) is built to respond quickly to outside change. McKinsey's Helix Model (2020) splits the hierarchy into two parallel lines: one develops people, the other directs them to business priorities.

MMPH 006 sample 1: strengths and weaknesses of five diagnostic models
ModelAdvantageDisadvantage
McKinsey 7SAligns every element; useful during mergersGives no action plan and ignores external factors
Galbraith StarShows elements and their links clearlyLeans on a single factor for motivation
Congruence (Nadler and Tushman)Short and easy to understandNeeds more detail to guide action
Burke-LitwinConnects employee needs with strategyHard to grasp in one reading
McKinsey HelixMore flexibility and better decisionsDemands effort; managers give up some control

Conclusion: No single model fits every case. A manager should choose the one that matches the organisation's strategy, culture and direction of growth.

Sample 2 of 5File Q4Block 1, Unit 220 marksAsked Dec 2024, June 2026

Social loafing and barriers to group decisions

Question: (a) Why does social loafing occur within groups, and what can be done to combat it? (b) What barriers make effective group decision-making difficult?

Social loafing is a group process loss in which people work less hard in a group than they would alone. (Karau and Williams, 1993)

Why it happens

Max Ringelmann's rope-pulling study (1913) found that groups of three pulled at only 85 percent of their combined capacity, and groups of eight at only 37 percent. Coordination loss means efforts do not add up. When each person's work is merged into one result, nobody can see who did what. The Collective Effort Model adds that members expect less success and value the group goal less.

How to reduce it

Make each person's contribution visible, keep groups small, raise the value of the goal so success feels reachable, and build positive interdependence so members gain from each other's effort.

Barriers to good decisions

Group polarisation, first described by Moscovici and Zavalloni in 1969, pushes views to extremes after discussion. Shared information bias makes groups dwell on what everyone already knows. Groupthink, named by Irving Janis in 1972, puts agreement above realistic appraisal, as seen in the Bay of Pigs invasion and the Challenger disaster.

Conclusion: Groups do not automatically outperform individuals. Managers have to watch for loafing on the effort side and for polarisation, shared information bias and groupthink on the decision side.

Changing patterns of roles and work-life balance

Question: Discuss the changing patterns of roles and role behaviours in modern organisations and explain, with examples, their effect on employees' work-life balance.

A role is the set of activities, duties and required behaviours an organisation wants a person to accept. Role behaviours fall into three kinds: pivotal (the price of membership, such as proper dress), relevant (desirable but optional, such as extra effort) and peripheral (allowed but not needed, such as casual chat).

Why roles are changing

Weyer divides Industry 4.0 into the smart machine, the smart product and the augmented operator, so demand now favours tech-savvy staff. Four pressures reshape roles: workforce diversity (KFC's biryani buckets in India), quality standards such as TQM and Six Sigma, technology integration, and a global market that rewards local adaptation, like McDonald's Maharaja burger.

New patterns

The nine-to-five, forty-hour week is fading. The gig economy and portfolio workers, sometimes called the slasher generation, hold several jobs at once, and career security is overtaking job security.

MMPH 006 sample 3: how flexible roles help and strain work-life balance
Benefit for employeesMatching challenge
Flexible hours and any locationTele-pressure and technostress
Little or no daily commuteNo line between office time and personal time
More time with familyIsolation and thin support
Less office politicsRisk of being overlooked for promotion

Conclusion: Modern roles give freedom but blur work and home. Digital presenteeism, the always-on habit, is the main threat, and managers need to limit it while keeping the human touch.

Sample 4 of 5File Q16Block 3, Units 7 and 820 marksAsked Dec 2024, June 2026

The concept of power and how a manager acquires it

Question: Explain the concept of power in an organisation. How does it influence people? Discuss the ways a manager acquires power.

Power is the probability that one actor in a social relationship can carry out their own will despite resistance. (Max Weber)

Four characteristics follow: power is specific to situations, rests on dependency, can expand or contract, and runs both ways.

How power influences people

Herbert Kelman identified three reactions. Compliance means people obey to gain rewards or avoid punishment. Identification means they obey to keep a relationship with the power holder. Internalisation means they accept influence because it matches their own values, which is the most lasting of the three.

How managers gain power

Positional power comes from the post; personal power comes from ability and conduct. Tactics that add to both include taking on areas of high uncertainty, creating dependencies, supplying scarce resources and doing work that has no substitute. Luthans adds building expertise, forming a winning coalition and controlling access to information.

Conclusion: Power is the ability to get things done through others. A manager draws it from position and capability, and should direct it at organisational goals rather than personal gain.

Tenets of strategic alliances and how they evolve

Question: What are the tenets of strategic alliances? Explain how alliances evolve, citing suitable examples.

Alliances between organisations begin, grow and succeed or fail much like relationships between people. Seven tenets keep them healthy.

  1. Maximisation: both partners must gain; a joint venture self-destructs when one side takes more.
  2. Flexibility: alliances are mortal and need regular review, as the Godrej-P&G and Coca-Cola-Parle break-ups showed.
  3. Clarity: divide roles clearly; in Wipro-GE, GE handled technology while Wipro ran HR, finance and legal.
  4. Value addition: pool complementary skills, such as an Indian partner's market access.
  5. Autonomy: give the venture room to run and a clear exit.
  6. Ownership: settle control amicably as the venture succeeds.
  7. Matching: plan finance in advance; Voltas pulled out of its venture with Pepsi.

How alliances evolve

Partners move through four overlapping phases: courtship, engagement, discovery of differences (most often over money) and building bridges through strategic, tactical, operational, interpersonal and cultural integration. In emerging markets, alliances pass through nascent, frenzied, turbulent and mature stages as regulation loosens.

Conclusion: The seven tenets keep an alliance healthy, and its life cycle mirrors a human relationship, from courtship to working through differences.

These five cover Blocks 1 to 4. The other 19 answers, including Hofstede's dimensions, the Role Analysis Technique and transactional versus transformational leadership, are in the full file.

3. MMPH 006 Important Questions Ranked by Frequency

Three MMPH 006 important questions were asked in three of the last six papers: political behaviour, culture convergence and changing role patterns. The table ranks the topics that came up more than once between December 2023 and June 2026, with the point each answer must make to score well.

Tenets of strategic alliancesDec 2024, Jun 2026Q23 (Sample 5)All seven tenets named, each with an Indian example

Wording repeats almost word for word. The social loafing, concept of power and alliance tenets questions in June 2026 read nearly the same as their December 2024 versions, so learning one well-built answer per topic goes a long way. If you want to see the original wording for yourself, our IGNOU Previous Year Question Paper collection has the past MMPH 006 papers session by session.

The same pattern holds for the course's own assignment. The 2023 tutor-marked assignment from IGNOU's School of Management Studies opened by asking students to define organisational dynamics and explain how organisational learning sustains it, which is Q2 and Q3 territory in this file. You can read that official MMPH 006 assignment on the IGNOU website.

4. MMPH 006 Syllabus: 4 Blocks and 11 Units

MMPH 006 Organisational Dynamics is taught through 4 blocks and 11 units, and the guess paper places every one of its 24 questions against a specific unit. The table uses the block and unit tags printed in the file; use it to check that no part of the syllabus is left uncovered.

5. MMPH 006 Exam Pattern and the 450-Word Answer Plan

The MMPH 006 term-end exam lasts 3 hours, carries 100 marks and asks you to attempt any 5 of 7 or 8 questions, each worth 20 marks. The December 2025 paper, for instance, set eight questions with no sections, no compulsory question and no short notes.

That leaves about 36 minutes per answer. A workable split is five minutes to plan headings, about 28 minutes to write, and three to underline key terms and check the conclusion. At a steady pace that is roughly 450 words, which is why every answer in the file is built to that length.

Structure matters as much as length. Open with a definition and its author, since names like Robbins and Judge or Hofstede tell the evaluator you read the book. Use a table whenever the question says distinguish or differentiate. Quote exact counts: three stages of socialisation, four RAT steps, seven alliance tenets, five Hofstede dimensions. End with two lines that answer the question directly.

Most MMPH 006 questions have two parts, such as "define" followed by "explain" or "discuss". Students often write a strong first half and a thin second one. Each answer in the file splits its headings to match both parts, so neither side of the question goes unanswered.

6. MMPH 006 Practical File Status and Guess Paper Index

MMPH 006 has no practical file, lab record or viva: it is a theory course assessed through one assignment and one term-end exam. The table below indexes the guess paper itself, so you know where each answer sits before you open the PDF.

MMPH 006 guess paper index: what each page range of the 27-page file contains

The assignment still deserves attention even without a practical. It carries 30 percent of your final grade and must be submitted for your result to be declared, and its questions tend to come from the same units the term-end paper uses.

7. Who the MMPH 006 Guess Paper Is Built For

The MMPH 006 guess paper is written for anyone taking the Organisational Dynamics term-end exam in December 2026 or later. The course is offered in the IGNOU Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Business Administration (Human Resources Management) (MBAHM), and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDIHRM), and HR learners can also browse our MBAHM guess Paper list for their other courses.

It suits working professionals most. Many MBA learners at IGNOU hold full-time jobs and study in the evenings, and they rarely have time to read four blocks twice. A file that sorts questions by how often they return lets them spend a limited number of hours on the answers most likely to be tested.

It also helps students reappearing after a low score. Looking back at the frequency grid shows which topics you skipped last time and which ones keep coming back, which is often all it takes to see why an earlier attempt fell short.

8. How to Get the Complete MMPH 006 Guess Paper

Send a WhatsApp message to 9899436384 with the code MMPH 006 and your exam session, and the complete 27-page PDF is shared on the same chat after payment. The full file adds 19 answers to the 5 you have read here, plus the exam rules page and the frequency grid.

  1. Message 9899436384 on WhatsApp with "MMPH 006" and your session, for example December 2026.
  2. Our team confirms the latest version and shares the price and payment options.
  3. Once payment is received, the PDF arrives on the same chat, ready to read on phone or print.
  4. Ask any doubt about an answer later on the same number.

9. MMPH 006 Organisational Dynamics FAQs

Quick answers to what students ask most about the MMPH 006 guess paper, the exam and the ordering process.

What is the MMPH 006 Solved Guess Paper?

It is a 27-page PDF from Unnati Educations with 24 predicted questions and full answers for IGNOU MMPH 006 Organisational Dynamics. We built it by mapping six term-end papers, December 2023 to June 2026, against the four blocks of the course book. Each answer runs close to 450 words, carries a priority tag and lists the sessions in which that topic was last asked.

How many questions are in the guess paper, and how many are shown here?

The complete MMPH 006 file holds 24 questions, one per page from page 2 to page 25. This page shows 5 of them as solved samples: diagnostic models, social loafing, changing roles, the concept of power and strategic alliances. The remaining 19 answers, along with the exam rules page and the frequency grid, come in the full PDF sent on WhatsApp.

Which MMPH 006 topics matter most for December 2026?

Three MMPH 006 topics came up in three of the last six papers: political behaviour and its causes, culture convergence and its myths, and changing patterns of roles with work-life balance. Right behind them are diagnostic models, social loafing, the communication process, the concept of power, leadership traits and the tenets of strategic alliances, each asked twice, most recently in June 2026.

Is the guess paper useful for MBA, MBAHM and PGDIHRM students?

Yes. MMPH 006 Organisational Dynamics is the same course, with the same term-end paper, whether you are enrolled in the IGNOU MBA, the MBA in Human Resource Management or the Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. The guess paper follows the shared course book, so one file serves learners of all three programmes, including students reappearing to clear a backlog.

How long should an MMPH 006 answer be for 20 marks?

Aim for roughly 450 words per MMPH 006 answer. Recent papers state no word limit, but five answers in three hours leave about 36 minutes each, and 450 words is what most learners can write, check and underline in that window. Open with a definition and its author, use headings, add a table when the question says distinguish, and close with a short conclusion.

Does MMPH 006 have a practical file?

No. MMPH 006 is a theory course, so there is no practical file, lab record or viva attached to it. Your grade comes from the tutor-marked assignment, which carries 30 percent weightage, and the three-hour term-end examination, which carries 70 percent. That is why the guess paper file index replaces a practical index on this page: every page is written for the theory exam.

Can the guess paper replace the IGNOU course book?

Not fully, and we would not advise trying. The MMPH 006 guess paper is a revision tool that squeezes the most repeated questions into exam-length answers. Read the course book once for the concepts, use the guess paper for the last three or four weeks, and keep the TMA questions in view, because the assignment and the term-end paper often draw on the same units.

How do I get the complete MMPH 006 Solved Guess Paper?

Send a WhatsApp message to 9899436384 with the course code MMPH 006 and the exam session you are writing, such as December 2026. Our team confirms the latest version, shares the price and payment options, and sends the complete PDF on the same chat once payment is received. If you get stuck on an answer later, you can ask your doubt on the same number.

10. Who Prepared and Reviewed the MMPH 006 Answers

The MMPH 006 answers were prepared by Prateek Talwar and reviewed by Sheetal Kirola of Unnati Educations, Vikaspuri, Delhi. Answers are written from the IGNOU MMPH 006 course book and checked against the six term-end papers listed above.
