What is the BHDC-133 December 2025 Question Paper?

The BHDC 133 December 2025 question paper is the official IGNOU Term-End Examination paper for ⤆⤧āĨā¤¨ā¤ŋ⤕ ā¤šā¤ŋ⤂ā¤ĻāĨ€ ⤕ā¤ĩā¤ŋā¤¤ā¤ž, set for B.A. General (BAG) students. It carries 100 marks across nine questions, with Q1 (kavya vyakhya) compulsory and any four of the remaining eight to be attempted.

In simple words, this is the same paper that real BAG learners wrote in December 2025, listed in the IGNOU Term-End Examination December 2025 official schedule. It came directly from IGNOU's evaluation board and was circulated at examination centres across India. For anyone with a June 2026 or December 2026 attempt coming up, this is your sharpest practice paper.

The paper covers the full sweep of ⤆⤧āĨā¤¨ā¤ŋ⤕ kavya: Bhartendu yug, Dwivedi yug, Chhayavaad, plus key kavi like Maithili Sharan Gupt, Ramnaresh Tripathi, Prasad, Pant, Nirala, and Mahadevi Verma.

About IGNOU BHDC-133 ⤆⤧āĨā¤¨ā¤ŋ⤕ ā¤šā¤ŋ⤂ā¤ĻāĨ€ ⤕ā¤ĩā¤ŋā¤¤ā¤ž

BHDC-133 is a discipline-specific course in the IGNOU B.A. General (BAG) programme under the CBCS structure. The paper traces Hindi poetry from the Bhartendu yug through Chhayavaad, covering literary movements, key poets, and the social-cultural shifts that shaped each phase. It carries 4 credits, with 70% weight on the Term-End Exam and 30% on the assignment.

Many BAG students find this paper trickier than it looks. The poems feel familiar from school, but writing a 12-mark vyakhya with proper sandarbh, line-by-line interpretation, and saundarya bodh is a separate skill. That's where the IGNOU BHDC 133 question paper from the latest session helps the most.

Topics tested

Kavya vyakhya (teen ansh), Bhartendu yug ki pravrittiyan, Dwivedi yug ki visheshtayen, Ramnaresh Tripathi ka kavya-saundarya, Maithili Sharan Gupt ki bhasha, Chhayavaad ki visheshtayen, Prasad ka shilp-vidhan, Sumitranandan Pant ki kavya-chetna, Nirala aur Mahadevi Verma par tippani

Syllabus Topics Covered

The paper hits the central pillars of ⤆⤧āĨā¤¨ā¤ŋ⤕ hindi kavya: Bhartendu yug ki dwidhatmak chetana, Dwivedi yug ka rashtra prem, Chhayavaad ka prakritivaad and atmavad, Prasad ka shilp, Pant ki saundarya drishti, Nirala ki vidroh chetana, and Mahadevi ki vedna. Read these as one continuous timeline, not as scattered chapters.

Some students try to mug every kavi at the same depth. Don't. The December 2025 paper makes the priority list pretty obvious, and you should plan revision around it.

Sample Answer Preview: Aadhunik Hindi Kavita Explanation

Take Q1, the kavya vyakhya, where you pick any three of the five options for 36 marks total. Most students lose 10 to 12 marks here because they treat each ansh like a school-level summary. Evaluators expect structure.

For each of the three options, follow this five-block layout. Open with sandarbh in 3 to 4 lines naming the kavi, kavya, and its place in the larger composition. Add a 2-line prasang explaining the moment. Then line-by-line vyakhya with clean Hindi paraphrase. Add a focused bhavarth. Close with kavya saundarya covering ras, alankaar, chhand, and bhasha shaili.

Marks distribution to aim for per ansh: sandarbh and prasang (2), vyakhya (5), bhavarth (2), saundarya bodh (3). Pick the three options you've actually studied. Many students switch options halfway and lose flow. Our solved version follows this exact structure, so you can see what a 12-mark vyakhya looks like written out.

How to Write High-Scoring Answers

Students who score 65 plus in BHDC-133 do four things consistently. They never paraphrase chhayavaadi padyas into casual Hindi, they keep the original kavya bhasha intact and explain. They name specific kaviyaan, rachna, and rachna kaal. They use bullet sub-headings inside long answers. And they leave clean margin space for the evaluator's marks.

Skip casual Hindi prose for critical terms. Use proper sahityik shabdavali: ā¤›ā¤žā¤¯ā¤žā¤ĩā¤žā¤Ļ, ā¤ĒāĨā¤°ā¤•āĨƒā¤¤ā¤ŋā¤ĩā¤žā¤Ļ, ā¤°ā¤šā¤¸āĨā¤¯ā¤ĩā¤žā¤Ļ, ⤅⤭ā¤ŋā¤ĩāĨā¤¯ā¤‚ā¤œā¤¨ā¤žā¤ĩā¤žā¤Ļ, ⤛⤂ā¤Ļ-ā¤ŽāĨā¤•āĨā¤¤ā¤ŋ. Examiners specifically reward correct terminology in this paper.

With Q1 worth 36 marks, give it 50 minutes. The other four answers get 25 to 30 minutes each. Set a hard mental alarm.

Who Should Use This Solved Question Paper

This paper is built for three groups. First-time BAG learners sitting BHDC-133 in June 2026 or December 2026, who want to see what the actual exam expects. Repeat-attempt students who scored low last session and need to figure out where the marks slipped. And working professionals on the BAG track who can't sit with thick textbooks and need a focused revision tool.

Students preparing the BHDC-132 Madhyakaleen Hindi Kavita paper alongside also find the vyakhya structure here useful, since the layout logic is shared.

Why This is Better Than Free PDFs and Telegram Files

Free is tempting. Most BHDC-133 students try it before they pay. But there's a reason students who clear the paper move to verified material instead of the first link they find.

Free PDFs usually have one of three problems: vyakhyas written for older syllabus versions, paraphrased blog content lifted into PDFs, or scanned pages with the most important kavyaansh missing. None of that holds up in a 3-hour exam.

The BHDC 133 ⤆⤧āĨā¤¨ā¤ŋ⤕ ā¤šā¤ŋ⤂ā¤ĻāĨ€ ⤕ā¤ĩā¤ŋā¤¤ā¤ž Solved Question Paper from us is checked against the official IGNOU pattern, written in proper Devanagari (not Romanised Hindi), and structured the way Hindi literature evaluators want to read. If anything looks off, our team replies on email within 24 hours.

Student Reviews

Neha B., Kanpur. First-time BAG learner, sat the December 2025 exam. The kavya vyakhya was the part I'd been dreading for weeks. The line-by-line model for the Maithili Sharan Gupt ansh here finally taught me what 'sandarbh sahit' actually means. Honestly walked out feeling lighter than I expected.

Rakesh J., Bhilai. Working professional, June 2026 attempt. I'd written ā¤›ā¤žā¤¯ā¤žā¤ĩā¤žā¤Ļ as just 'prakriti aur bhavna' last time and lost half the marks. The breakdown of all four pillars (atmavad, prakritivaad, rahasyavaad, vyaktitva) here changed how I'm preparing for this round.

Tanvi S., Surat. BAG student, December 2026 attempt. Bought this honestly because of assignment overlap. The Prasad ka shilp-vidhan section helped my TMA, and I'll reuse the Pant kavya-chetna structure for the actual exam too. Money well spent.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the actual IGNOU paper from December 2025?

Yes, this is the verified IGNOU Term-End Examination paper held in December 2025. The questions match the official paper word for word, including the original Hindi instruction line, all five padyaansh options in Q1, and the four short-note options in Q9. Our team cross-checked it against IGNOU's released schedule and the version circulated at exam centres. You're not getting a guess paper. You're getting the real one.

Will this help me prepare for my June or December 2026 exam?

Absolutely yes, and it's the strongest paper to start your prep with. IGNOU question patterns repeat across sessions for ⤆⤧āĨā¤¨ā¤ŋ⤕ ā¤šā¤ŋ⤂ā¤ĻāĨ€ ⤕ā¤ĩā¤ŋā¤¤ā¤ž, often with small wording changes, so the December 2025 paper is the closest preview of your June or December 2026 attempt. Bhartendu, Dwivedi, Chhayavaad, and the Prasad-Pant-Nirala-Mahadevi cluster are evergreen themes you should expect again.

Are all the answers fully written, including the kavya vyakhyas?

Yes, every answer is fully written in exam-ready Hindi, sized for the full marks of that question. All five kavyaansh in Q1 are vyakhya'd with sandarbh, prasang, line-by-line interpretation, bhavarth, and saundarya bodh, so you're covered no matter which three you pick. The long essay answers run 500 to 700 words. Q9 short notes are also fully drafted. Copy the structure into your handwriting on exam day.

Can I use this for my BHDC-133 assignment work?

Yes, several questions in the December 2025 paper overlap directly with recent BHDC-133 TMA topics, so you'll find adapt-ready content for your assignment too. We strongly suggest you don't copy answers verbatim, since IGNOU runs assignment plagiarism checks. Read our model answer, take the structure and main points, then rewrite in your own voice. That's how toppers actually use solved papers properly.

How quickly will I get the PDF after payment?

Within five minutes in most cases, and within thirty minutes at the absolute maximum. The PDF is sent automatically to the email address you enter at checkout. If you don't see it, check your spam or promotions folder first. Still nothing after thirty minutes? Send us a quick mail and we'll resend it manually that same hour. No long support tickets, no automated bots in the loop.

What if the file doesn't open or the answers don't meet expectations?

We'll fix it or refund you, full stop. If the PDF is corrupted or doesn't open on your device, write to our support team and we'll send a fresh file the same day. If you genuinely feel the content quality isn't what we promised on this product page, we issue a refund within seven working days of purchase. Honest support, no scripts, no excuses.
