Accountancy (320) pairs short theory questions with numerical problems on cash books, depreciation and share capital, so an untidy or half correct answer sheet quietly costs the marks that are hardest to win back. Below you will find all six questions exactly as they appear, two complete sample answers you can read before deciding, and the steps to receive the rest.

NIOS Class 12 Accountancy 320 Solved TMA for October 2026
This solution set covers the current 2026 assignment for subject code 320 at the senior secondary level. The theory answers are written to the exact word bands NIOS asks for, and every numerical is worked line by line with the correct account format, so what you submit reads like the work of a student who understood the lesson rather than copied a summary.
Accountancy rewards precision more than length. A truck account that balances to the rupee, a reconciliation statement that lands on the right pass book figure, a share capital entry that adjusts the excess application money correctly: these are the details that a tutor rewards, and they are the details our NIOS Accountancy 320 Solved TMA gets right.
Why the Accountancy 320 TMA Carries 20 Marks in Your Result
For a theory subject like Accountancy (320), the tutor marked assignment carries 20 marks and the public examination carries the other 80. That 20 sits on your marks sheet before you ever enter the exam hall, which means a well written assignment can turn a nervous borderline case into a settled pass.
If you are still getting to grips with how a NIOS TMA is built, each subject has one assignment of six questions. Questions one to three are short answers of about 40 to 60 words at 2 marks each, questions four and five are longer answers of 100 to 150 words at 4 marks, and question six is a 6 mark project you attempt from two options.
Tutors award these marks on content, presentation and handwriting together. That is why a clean, correctly worked Accountancy 320 answer sheet counts for as much as arriving at the right final figure, and why a rushed copy leaves marks on the table.

Two Sample Answers from Our Accountancy 320 Solved TMA
Reading two finished answers tells you more than any promise about quality. Below are our worked responses to Question 1 option (a) and Question 2 option (b). Notice how each stays inside the word band while still naming the concept, the reason and a short example.
Sample 1 · Question 1 (a): Accounting as a source of information
Yes, accounting is a source of information because it systematically records, classifies and summarizes business transactions. It provides financial data regarding profit or loss, assets, liabilities and capital of a business. This information is useful for various users such as owners, managers, investors, creditors, government and employees for decision-making. Accounting information helps in knowing financial position, assessing efficiency, fulfilling legal requirements, ensuring control over resources and planning future activities. Thus, it acts as an important source of information.
Sample 2 · Question 2 (b): Concept of a Partnership deed
A partnership deed is a written agreement among partners of a firm which defines the terms and conditions of partnership. It includes details such as name and address of the firm, names of partners, nature of business, profit-sharing ratio, capital contributions, interest on capital or drawings, salary or commission to partners, and settlement of disputes. It helps in avoiding conflicts by clearly laying down mutual rights, duties and liabilities of partners. It is considered an important document under the Partnership Act.
The remaining solutions, including the full bank reconciliation statement for Shreya Traders, the truck account with each year's depreciation working and the share capital journal entries for Satnam Ltd, are supplied in the complete file with the same clarity.

How We Prepare Each Accountancy 320 TMA Answer
Every answer starts from the assignment sheet placed next to the NIOS textbook, lesson by lesson. We match the question to the exact chapter it comes from, then write to the concept the examiner is testing rather than padding the page.
For the theory questions we hold the 40 to 60 word band and open with a direct sentence, because a tutor scanning quickly should see the answer in the first line. For the numericals we show the working: the depreciation on written down value, the plus and minus columns of a reconciliation statement, the application, allotment and call entries in order, each ruled into a proper account format.
This is the same discipline that runs through the rest of our NIOS Study Material, and it is why the Accountancy 320 answers read as considered work rather than a lightly reworded guide.
