This page lists every NIOS Class 12 Question Paper with Answers PDF currently hosted on Unnati Educations, organised subject by subject and session by session. Each row links straight to the original NIOS paper as it was set in the examination hall, so you can open a PDF in one click rather than hunting through folders. Solved answer sets for any listed subject are available on request through the WhatsApp button in the same row.
The tables below cover 50 academic subject codes across the April 2025 and October 2024 sessions, plus seven vocational codes from April 2025. Older sessions from 2021 to 2024 are linked in the archive section further down.
NIOS Class 12 Question Paper with Answers PDF Subject Wise Download Table
Every link in the Download Paper column opens the actual PDF hosted on this site. Nothing is gated and nothing redirects. The Get Solution button in each row opens WhatsApp with the subject and session already filled in, so you do not have to type out what you need.
Codes run from 301 to 385. If your subject code is not listed for a session, that paper is not yet uploaded rather than unavailable, and you can message the NIOS desk to ask for it.

Paper Structure You Will See When You Open a PDF
Rather than describe a pattern from memory, open any paper in the table above and read the instruction block on the first page. That block tells you the total marks, the time allowed, the number of sets, and whether any internal choice is offered. It is printed on the paper itself, which makes it the only source worth trusting.
Across the April 2025 and October 2024 papers listed here, most academic subjects are printed in multiple sets, usually marked Set A, Set B and Set C, and several are bilingual with the English and Hindi versions of each question printed together. Language papers such as Bengali, Tamil and Malayalam are single language. Check the set letter on your own admit card before you assume which set you will be given.
Marks distribution and the number of sections vary by subject code. Do not carry an assumption across from another subject. For confirmation of the current scheme of studies and marking weightage, refer to the official NIOS senior secondary curriculum on nios.ac.in.
A Six Step Method for Working Through a Past Paper
Downloading a paper achieves nothing on its own. What produces a change in marks is the loop you run after you close the PDF. This is the loop that works.
- Sit it under exam conditions. Full duration, on the answer sheet format you will actually use, phone in another room. A paper attempted in fragments across an afternoon tells you nothing about how you will perform in a single continuous sitting.
- Mark it against the solution, not against your intentions. Award nothing for an answer you knew but did not write. Award nothing for a correct idea buried in an unstructured paragraph. Examiners cannot read what is in your head.
- Sort every lost mark into one of three buckets. Concept not known, concept known but poorly presented, or careless slip. Each bucket has a different fix, and mixing them is why students repeat the same errors for months.
- Rewrite only the presentation failures. These are the cheapest marks on the paper. A right answer that lost marks for missing headings, an unlabelled diagram or a skipped step will keep costing you until you rewrite it properly once.
- Log recurring questions. When a long answer question you have already seen turns up in a second paper, write it in a separate notebook with the model answer beside it. Build this from the papers themselves rather than from anyone claiming to predict the exam.
- Re-sit the same paper after a gap. Ten days later, attempt it again cold. If the score has not moved, the earlier review was cosmetic and needs redoing.
How Many Papers to Attempt and in What Order
There is no honest way to promise a mark from a paper count, so we will not print one. What we can say is what the papers themselves support.
Work backwards from the newest sitting. April 2025 first, then October 2024, then April 2024, and so on. The most recent papers reflect the current framing and topic emphasis most closely, and if you run short of time you will at least have covered the papers that matter most.
Attempt every session available for your weakest subject before you attempt a second paper in a subject you are already comfortable with. Marks are cheaper to gain at the bottom of your subject list than at the top.
Alternate a fresh paper with a review day. A paper attempted and never reviewed is worth less than no paper at all, because it teaches you to tolerate your own mistakes.
Mistakes That Waste a Past Paper
- Attempting without a timer, so speed is never tested until the day it counts.
- Checking the solution mid attempt, which converts recall practice into copying practice.
- Marking generously, which produces an inflated score and a real shock later.
- Reading the solution instead of rewriting the answer. Reading feels like learning and rarely is.
- Skipping diagrams and labels in practice, then losing those marks in the hall.
- Starting from the oldest paper, so the newest framing is met for the first time under exam pressure.
- Treating the tutor marked assignment as an afterthought when it carries weightage in the final result.
- Ignoring that vocational 600 series papers are structured differently from the 300 series.

Questions Students Ask Us Most Often
Where can I download the NIOS Class 12 Question Paper with Answers PDF at no cost?
Every paper in the tables on this page opens directly as a PDF at no cost, with no sign up and no redirect. The papers cover 50 academic codes for April 2025 and October 2024 and seven vocational codes for April 2025. Worked solution sets are prepared separately by our faculty and are shared on request through the WhatsApp button in each row.
Are these the original NIOS papers or reconstructed versions?
They are scans of the papers as issued in the examination hall, including the set letter and the original instruction block printed on page one. Nothing has been retyped, reworded or reordered by us. This matters more than students expect, because a reconstructed paper quietly alters the phrasing of a question, and phrasing is precisely the thing you are training yourself to read quickly and interpret correctly under time pressure.
Do questions repeat between NIOS sessions?
Some themes clearly recur across sittings, which you will see for yourself once you have attempted three or four papers in the same subject. We will not print a repetition percentage, because we have no verified figure and an invented one would send you into the exam with false confidence. Build your own list from the papers rather than trusting a number.
Should I practise April papers or October papers?
Both, and it matters far less which you begin with than that you begin with the most recent sitting available to you. April and October are two sittings of the same senior secondary course, set against the same syllabus and the same scheme of studies. Treating one sitting as inherently softer than the other is a habit worth dropping early, because the examiner does not share that assumption.
How recent are the papers listed here?
April 2025 is the newest full session hosted, and the archive runs back to April 2021. When a fresh session is released by the board and processed, it is added to the tables above and to its own session page. If a session you need is missing, message the NIOS desk and we will tell you honestly whether it exists yet.
What is the difference between a question paper and a sample paper?
A question paper is the actual paper that candidates sat in a given session, with real questions and real difficulty. A sample paper is a practice set issued to demonstrate the format and question types. Both have a place in your preparation, but they are not interchangeable, and a sample paper should never be the only thing you attempt. Sample papers are linked in the archive table above.
Do you provide solutions for every subject listed?
Solved answer sets exist for the main academic subjects and are being extended steadily across the remaining codes. Rather than claim complete coverage across all 57 codes when that would not be true today, we would rather you ask for the specific subject and session you actually need. Use the Get Solution button in your row and you will be told plainly what is ready and what is not.
