(a) Differentiate between Aims and Objectives. Aims are broad, long term and general statements of educational purpose, such as developing a scientific attitude in learners. Objectives are specific, short term and measurable outcomes of a single lesson or unit, such as the learner will define photosynthesis. Aims give overall direction, while objectives are written in behavioural terms and can be observed and evaluated after teaching.
(b) Importance of Pedagogical Analysis. Pedagogical analysis is the systematic breaking down of subject content before teaching.
